A frightening haunted house put on in the Stoney Point area of Cedar Rapids. The Haunted Garage uses creepy visuals and sounds, creating a foreboding and tense atmosphere, and rattles your nerves with genuine scares. Admission is free, but canned food donations are encouraged!

Swamp Fox Festival

Marion, IA, September 27-29, 2019

The Swamp Fox Festival is a variety of events around Marion, IA at Klopfenstein Amphitheater, City Square Park, and Lowe Park. Come out for food, live music and various family activities including BINGO, a bounce house, rock climbing wall and an obstacle course. The evening entertainment will be provided by Chicago’s own Spazmatics.

Harvest Hayrack Nights- Sunset Pumpkins & Night Owls

Ushers Ferry Historic Village, Wednesdays in October, 2019

Enjoy an evening of old-fashioned fun! Take a hayrack ride through the valley, gather around the bonfire with hot cocoa, to roast marshmallows, try a craft and join us in the saloon for some card games.

Sunset Pumpkins: 5:00 - 6:30pm     Night Owls: 6:30 - 8:00pm

Spooky Station

The Play Station, October 12-13, 19-20 & 26-27, 2019

A Family Friendly Halloween Event at The Play Station! For three spooky weekends in October the Play Station transforms into a Halloween wonderland for kids and families. Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes!

The family-friendly fundraiser event will offer food and merchandise vendors, live music, bake sale items, a silent auction, hayrack rides, kids events and more. The $7 admission fee gives individuals and families access to all events.

Halloween Parade: Tales of Mystery & Imagination

It's the 3rd year for the Halloween Parade and this year's theme is "SCARY THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT". Come in your favorite costume to view this outrageous parade. Check out activities at the NewBo City Market and in Czech Village before the parade!
