CLOCK HOUSE BREWING, Downtown Cedar Rapids

It all started with a passion for beer and three like-minded beer enthusiasts who took a chance as the craft beer industry boomed. Housed in the resurrected 107 year old Clock House Building the brew-pub is a welcome addition to historic downtown Cedar Rapids.

TRY: Witch Slap – New England/Hazy IPA with low bitterness and a high tropical fruit flavor.

LION BRIDGE BREWING COMPANY, Cedar Rapids Czech Village

Lion Bridge Brewing offers artisan beer produced in small batches. They are always working to develop relationships in order to help foster a community that is constantly striving to be new and innovative. The end goal is to produce delicious, complex, and approachable beers with a focus on community and local collaboration. Our Taproom is also the home of Ian’s Pizza CR.

TRY: Compensation – An English mild ale with notes of biscuit, toffee, and chocolate meld with a silky mouthfeel to produce this world-class session beer.

QUARTER BARREL ARCADE & BREWERY, Cedar Rapids MedQuarter

Located in downtown Cedar Rapids, The Quarter Barrel Arcade & Brewery is a family-friendly brewpub with a distinctive kitchen and a lineup of vintage arcade and pinball machines. The tap list reflects the heart of the brewery—their own beers pouring alongside a rotating mix of guest taps and cans. The goal is simple: a well-rounded selection with something for every kind of drinker, whether you’re after a familiar pint or something new.

TRY: Lenna Irish Red – A medium bodied red ale with a slight toasty malt character and a delicate layer of earthy English hops.

THIRD BASE BREWERY, Cedar Rapids

Originally established in 1996 as Cedar Brewing Company, this was the first microbrewery to open in Cedar Rapids since Prohibition. After several changes and rebranding as Third Base Brewery in 2007, we have remained committed to our authentic brewing process. From grinding and mashing to brewing and fermentation, our beers are meticulously hand-crafted, filtered, and served right on site!

TRY: Bees Knees Honey Ale – A smooth and sweet beer brewed with 25 lbs. of locally produced Wild Flower honey in every batch.

BIG GROVE BREWERY, Cedar Rapids

The newest brewery in Cedar Rapids, opened December 2023. In 2013, Big Grove Brewery opened its doors in Solon, Iowa, built on a foundation of quality beer, exceptional food, and genuine Iowa hospitality. Over the past decade, they've experienced incredible success, driven by their commitment to crafting authentic beer and food.

TRY: Easy Eddy – Iowa’s top-selling IPA is hazy with tropical flavors of pineapple and mango.

BIT BREWERY, Central City

You will always have something new when you come to visit BIT Brewery. Their wood-fired brick oven pizzas change about once a month and the beers almost every week - They are always trying new recipes!

TRY: A full rotating tap, always featuring something new. Flight glasses and regular pours only.

HOUSE DIVIDED, Ely

House Divided Brewery was created when Cal and Lisa Corrin took this picture for their 2013 Christmas card. Cal had been homebrewing for a few years and decided to use the name for his home brewery. When the opportunity presented itself to open this nanobrewery, there was a debate on the name for the brewery. It was finally decided to keep the same name that had been used for several years - HOUSE DIVIDED BREWERY

TRY: Back in Black – Black/Cascadian dark ale IPA with a dry, hop-forward balance of American IPA and roasty flavor of a stout.
