Veterans Memorial Building - Veterans Day program information. MVC sponsored Veterans Day Service begins promptly at 10 am.
Also highlight: Veterans Memorial Building open gallery/military themed displays open hours are: 9 am - 2 pm. Front desk attendant available during those hours.
Downtown parking is FREE on the weekends, so don’t pay zone fees or feed the meters.
Veterans Day. Honoring military Veterans.
Stop by the Veterans Memorial Building in downtown Cedar Rapids to give thanks and learn about local Veterans on Veterans Day. FREE and open to the public. 9 am - 2 pm.
Promptly at 10 am, a traditional Veterans Day service will begin. Metro Veterans Council facilitates the hour-long program and the service includes: presentation of the colors, guest speaker, Volley Salute and more.
Front desk attendant available inside the Memorial lobby to direct visitors to the four gallery displays, including the World War II local showcase. Open until 2 pm.
