Prairiewoods and the Iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio, with grant funding from the Iowa Arts Council, are entering into the final phase of the Civilized Wildlings series with multi-media artist Jill Foote-Hutton.
Prairiewoods and the Iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio, with grant funding from the Iowa Arts Council, are entering into the final phase of the Civilized Wildlings series with multi-media artist Jill Foote-Hutton. Part three of this series will begin March 20 with the display of community-made mosaics created at the Ceramics Center at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha). This exhibition will feature 20–35 mosaic projects that community members created at a November workshop. (Call 319-395-6700 for viewing hours.) On Sunday, April 21, Prairiewoods will host a reception with Jill Foote-Hutton with an Artist Talk beginning at 2:30 p.m. Join us for this celebration of prairie-inspired art and community creation!
