Join us as we celebrate Women’s arts through musical performances, visual art demonstrations, yoga with music, and much more. ​PLUS: Yoga on the Bankers Trust Stage from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Browse and shop over 90 women-owned businesses, artists, and artisans from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Amana Colonies Wurst Festival: Visit the Amana Colonies for the annual Wurst Festival! The German tradition of making sausages is alive and well in the Colonies and you don’t want to miss out on this celebration of everything sausage. While you’re there also enjoy the Wurst Games and Dachshund Derby.
• Robins Round Up, South Troy Park: Cash only event. Enjoy the 5K, food & drinks, kids carnival games, a live band and so much more!

• Juneteenth, NewBo City Market: Join the African American Museum of Iowa for a full week of events celebrating the end of slavery in America and remembers the day of June 19, 1865 when the last enslaved people in America were finally freed upon receiving news of the Emancipation Proclamation.
• Hiawatha's 75th Celebration: We look forward to celebrating Hiawatha's 75th birthday and the wonderful City we live, work, and play in! Save the date for a FREE family, friendly community celebration on June 14th, 2025 at Guthridge Park!

• Lincoln Highway Nitty Gritty, Mount Vernon: The Nitty Gritty is presented by three Mount Vernon businesses: Vintage 1891, Back Porch Pickers, and Polly Ann’s Vintage Market. The event focuses on vintage, agricultural, repurposed, industrial, primitive, artisan and retro pieces, as well as traditional collectibles and antiques.

• Solon Beef Days: Since its start in 1971 we've been growing and going strong ever since! Beef Days is held every year beginning on the 3rd Friday in July and includes events like the hay bale toss, bags tournaments, community fun run, kickball, live music and more!

• The Street Food Festival, Ellis Park: Join us & other local food trucks & vendors for a great day of good eats, music, face painting & fun for the entire family! 10% of all sales will be donated to our local homeless shelters. Bring your lawn chair for an evening filled with live music, delicious food, and cold drinks in the beautiful setting of Brucemore’s front lawn.
