Cedar Rapids received a perfect score on the HRC Municipal Equality Index that examines how inclusive municipal laws, policies, and services are of LGBTQ+ people who live and work there. Many of our community restaurants, shops and accommodations proudly display a rainbow decal in their windows to illustrate their open-armed commitment to inclusivity.

After 30 years of creating awareness, inclusivity and visibility for LGBTQ+ individuals in Cedar Rapids, don’t miss out as CR Pride celebrates the annual Pride Festival and Parade in the NewBo District in June.
