Escape into the beauty and wonder of nature at Indian Creek Nature Center, featuring seven miles of well-groomed trails through prairies, woodlands, and wetlands. Amazing Space, Indian Creek Nature Center’s main facility, is a regenerative building that has achieved net-zero energy since 2019. The facility provides endless opportunities for indoor exploration and discovery, and serves as your gateway to the beautiful natural world outside its doors. Relax in the Bird Room, explore indoor exhibits, visit the resident reptiles and amphibians, and pop into the Creekside Shop to pick up sustainably sourced gifts or local produce from Etzel Sugar Grove Farm, the Nature Center's organic farm. Whether you come here to hike our scenic trails, drop your child off at one of the many educational programs, participate in a yoga class, or celebrate nature at one of our signature events, we know you’ll always have another occasion to visit us again and again. Trails are open 365 days a year, 5am-10pm. Snowshoes are available for rent when there's at least five inches of snow.
