Hawkeye Downs has long been considered the crowned jewel of short track racing in the Midwest, and remains a great resource for quality outdoor family entertainment! Hawkeye Downs continues to be the only full-time weekly asphalt track in Iowa. Make your plans to come out to the track this summer for weekly Friday night racing, Enduro races, drag racing and more! Tickets generally run around $10 (weekly racing free for kids 8 and under with paying adult), making this an affordable entertainment option for the family.

Hosting Events

Hawkeye Downs is a fantastic venue to hold your next event. With 35,000 square feet of indoor space, there is room for everyone. Hawkeye Downs features ample FREE parking for guests. The space works well for a wide range of events including: vendor shows, fundraisers, outdoor events, car shows, concerts, light shows and more. Corporate events, weddings, and family reunions are all ideal for this space.
