Cedar Rapids is located just five hours from several Midwest hubs, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Omaha, Kansas City and St. Louis. Once you arrive in Iowa, it’s a cinch to get around. Avoid the stress of navigating larger cities - Cedar Rapids and our surrounding towns are all located near major highways.
The Eastern Iowa Airport (better known as CID when you’re booking a flight) is a convenient option for traveling in and out of the Cedar Rapids area. It’s conveniently located just north of Interstate 80, right off Interstate 380.
You’ll find plenty of parking in our downtown area and Park Cedar Rapids offers great information on their website. The downtown area - including the NewBo and Czech Village neighborhoods - are all pedestrian friendly and easy for walkers to navigate.
