2 Weeks of National Volleyball Championships Take the Court in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) is bringing two straight weeks of NJCAA Volleyball Championship action to Cedar Rapids, IA.

Cedar Rapids Tourism and Kirkwood Community College will host the 2025 Division II (Nov. 19-22, 2025) and Division III (Nov. 13-15, 2025) National Volleyball Championships at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse. Cedar Rapids has served as the host location for the NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship since the 2020-21 season and the NJCAA DIII Volleyball Championship since 2023.

DIII Championship Information, Nov. 13-15, 2025

The 2025 NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championship consists of 16 teams. The 12 district winners, and 4 at large bids, will travel to Cedar Rapids from a selection of 8 different states. The event will feature three days of volleyball action from November 13-15 with two courts playing on the first two days followed by matches on Center Court on Championship Day.

  • Day one will feature 12 matches with the first matches starting at 9 a.m. and the final matches of the day starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Day two will feature 12 matches with the first matches starting at 10:00 a.m. and the final matches starting at 6:30 p.m.
  • The final day features all place matches starting with the 9th place match at 10:00 a.m. and the Championship match at 6:30 p.m. on Center Court.

DII Championship Information, Nov. 19-22, 2025

The 2025 NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship consists of 20 teams. The 16 district winners, and 4 at large bids, will travel to Cedar Rapids from a selection of 11 different states. The event will feature four days of championship volleyball from November 19-22 with two courts playing Wednesday through Friday, and one court on championship Saturday.

  • Day one will feature 12 matches with the day starting at 9 a.m. and the final matches starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Day two will also feature 12 matches with the same start time of 9 a.m. and the final matches of the day starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Day three will feature eight matches with the first matches starting at 11 a.m. and the final matches of the day starting at 6 p.m.
  • The final day will feature one fifth place match at 12 p.m. followed by the third place and championship matches at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The Kirkwood Community College Eagles have secured their spot in the championship tournament and are currently ranked 2nd in the country. Their first match will be Wednesday, November 19.
