Zumba with Julio at Prairiewoods (in person)

Zumba is a high-energy fitness class that combines dance and aerobic exercises set to upbeat Latin and international music. It's a fun, full-body workout suitable for all fitness levels, blending easy-to-follow choreography with cardio, muscle conditioning and balance. It’s perfect for anyone looking to stay active while having a great time! Come to Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) for Zumba with Julio every Wednesday evening. Facilitator Julio Vera is a massage therapist at Prairiewoods. He graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in 2024 and specializes in therapeutic, deep tissue, muscle tension and relaxation massage. Born in Mexico, Julio is bilingual in English and Spanish. He recently moved to Iowa from New York City with his family who is local to the area. Julio is a dance fitness instructor with a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Let’s join him for these fun, full-body workouts as we match our movements with music!
