what to expect hikers will gather at the farm for a 90 minute experience learning about llamas and how to handle them on the trail public group hikes are for ages 10+ (for all ages hike please inquire about a private group hike by emailing us) distance & terrain the hike is about 1.2 miles with wide mowed paths through our forest reserve, tall grass prairie, and over a creek crossing that winds up and around a large cedar grove you can expect two moderate inclines on the hike with a few stops for photos and to let the llamas graze what to bring and wear: closed toed shoes are required and long pants are highly recommended water
