Call for Artists 2x2xU

Overview

2x2xU is a public art show that is displayed across NewBo District Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The opportunity to create artwork on these 2 ft. x 2ft. boards are open to anyone - from children through professionals. Create your artwork using any medium desired. Please keep in mind most of the boards will be displayed outdoors. Create any interpretation of this year's theme as inspiration.

2026 theme " My NewBo"

Participants pick up a 2 ft. x 2ft. wooden board on March 7th 10am-3:30pm in the First Floor Gallery Space of The Cherry Building. Cost per board is $25 - cash or check at the time of pick up. Limited number of boards, we will sell out. Return board to the Iowa Ceramics Center in The Cherry Building by May 11th. Boards will be on display throughout New Bohemia Memorial Day- Labor Day. After Labor Day, you may pick up your artwork. Email questions to John at john@johnsawdust.com.
