Cedar Rapids Museum of Art – Notable exhibits this year: American Visionary: John F. Kennedy’s Life and Times through May 19 and Kick Up Your Heels: The Fine Art of Shoes from May 11 to September 1. Home to the world’s largest collection of Grant Wood works. crma.org

Cedar Rapids Public Library – Galleries at the Ladd Library and on the 3rd floor of the Downtown Library feature local artists works created in the last two years including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, collage, paper/fiber/textile, and mixed media. crlibrary.org

The History Center – Local art and artifacts (including The Douglas Mansion itself– The History Center’s home) tell the stories of the past connecting people to the present and future of Linn County. historycenter.org

Iowa Masonic Library & Museum - The Library’s Masonic Museum houses a three-paneled painting entitled, “The First Three Degrees of Freemasonry” the only known Masonic painting of Iowa artist Grant Wood.
