The O'Connell Brothers Band is a mix of family, friends, and a love of good music.
Born from the percussion section of the band Flat Cat the O'Connell Brothers Band features music centered on drums and percussion. Founded by Pat O'Connell, the band features his brother John (JR O'Connell) on a full drum set and vocals, Mike (Butch) O'Connell on a second drum set and Pat O'Connell on bongos, congas, percussion and vocals. They were formally known as the Irish Drums of Passion and have opened up for national acts such as Foghat, America, and Chubby Carrier to name a few. Rounding out the band are Mark Wagler on guitar and Trop Harper on bass and vocals.
Playing popular dance music is what rev's this bands engine. Whether it's a local nightclub, a private party or a summer festival there is nothing better than a rockin' band with a rockin' crowd! When this band is playing, we're having fun and the fun is infections! Featuring music from the likes of the Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty and Heartbreakers, Rolling Stones, Santana, Kid Rocks, Lynard Skynnerd, and more the O'Connell Brothers Band is sure to rock your night!!
