Melt away the chill of winter with the Chamber Players of Orchestra Iowa in a Metallic Frost concert comprised of music for piano and winds. Travel to Paris between the wars with Ibert’s Three Short Pieces, and travel Americana with the Miniatures for Wind Quintet based on traditional songs and hymns by William Grant Still. Masterwork compositions such as Mozart’s Divertimento in Bb, and Beethoven’s Quintet for Piano and Winds are also on the program.
