The Wooden Nickel Lottery is a local band that features exciting original blend of blues & rock and will be at NewBo City Market on August 1

Saturday Afternoon Live is the Market's Saturday concert series. Walk-up spots are available with a free-will donation. You may also reserve a spot ahead of time for $20 and tables for $25.
On August 1, the Market will host Saturday Afternoon Live with the Wooden Nickel Lottery, a local band bringing exciting original blend of blues & rock to Eastern Iowa.
The Market Yard will be sectioned into eight-foot squares, spaced six feet apart, for up to six people. Check in begins at 1 pm the day of the event.
This means you, and up to five members of your "quaran-team", can reserve one (1) spot in our yard and enjoy live local music while safely social distancing and supporting the small businesses within the Market.
A $20 per reserved square and $25 per reserved table cover charge will help us pay our amazing local bands, who are all small businesses in their own right.
Event Rules:
- NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES, please support our Shopkeepers and get your snacks here!
- NO COOLERS
- No smoking
- We encourage guests to wear a mask when leaving your designated square
- If you have been sick in the last two weeks prior to the event please avoid attending.
- Check-in begins at 1 p.m. the day of the event.
