Bring the entire family to enjoy an afternoon of polka music, fun outdoor games, and traditional Oktoberfest activities.
Play giant yard games including garbage can pong, keg bowling, and giant bags. Shop and dine at the Market with NewBo Shopkeepers with special offerings like caramel apple truffles from Lori Ann’s Candies, Bavarian-style pretzels from Aroma Artisan Pizza and handmade bratwurst from The Sausage Foundry.
The party continues after the Market closes with a hog roast with Big Boy Meats, and more grown-up Oktoberfest games including Hammerschlagen, Masskrugstemmen (Steinholding), and a bratwurst eating contest.
Iowa Brewing Co. will be serving their Oktoberfest beer, Iowa Fest, plus sampling several other locally crafted beers throughout the day. Guests may purchase special NewBo Oktoberfest beer steins and receive specials and discounts from NewBo Beer & Wine.
