Brucemore and Trees Forever are partnering on a Historic Tree Tour of the 26-acre Brucemore estate.
Mark Vitosh, Iowa District Forester and Aaron Brewer, Trees Forever Field Coordinator, will join Brucemore's Historic Landscape Manager David Morton. They will be teaching tree ID techniques as well as pointing out and discussing unique tree specimens on the estate.
Trees Forever is a 30-year-old environmental non-profit on a mission to plant and care for trees and the environment by empowering people, building community and promoting stewardship. We involve anaverage of 7,000 volunteers annually through our plantings and events.
This tour is free with a suggested donation of $5 per person to Brucemore's Pride & Preservation campaign to support capital investment in the property.
