Put on a costume, jump in the car, and drive over to Veterans Memorial Stadium/Kingston Parking Lot for a new event, “Halloween Drive-Thru,” with safety precautions in place.
Assigned one-hour time slots are available from 12:00-4:00 p.m.
Advance online registration is required call 319-286-5566. The fee is only $5 per car.
Line up to trick-or-treat in your car at your assigned time for check in (registration receipt required) at the Kingston parking lot entrance, off 15th Street, then parade (slowly and carefully) through the Kernels’ parking lot where the event staff, sponsors, and volunteers will hand out treats.
You will receive a map and Covid-19 safety protocols after you register. Please remain in your car for the duration of the event and wearing a mask is recommended while collecting handouts. If you become sick or recently exposed to Covid-19 between registration and the event, stay home and contact the Parks & Recreation Department to receive a refund. All staff, sponsors, and volunteers are required to wear a mask and gloves.
