The Freedom Festival offers a patriotic and nostalgic way to celebrate community on 4th of July weekend with their annual parade! This year the theme for the Parade will be “Happy Birthday, Freedom Festival!” in honor of the Festival’s 35th anniversary!
To keep the birthday party going, join us on Newbo City Markets’s lawn for FREE cake after the Parade!! Cake is courtesy of Hy-Vee.
Enjoy the diverse entries of floats, vehicles, music, dancing groups, businesses and other local organizations. Also, featuring the "Freedom Festival Express" track-less train!
Don't miss this fun, unique parade with over 100 entries each year!
NEW this year, join us after the Parade at Newbo City Market for FREE cake! We will keep the birthday party going after the Parade and enjoy some cake, courtesy of Hy-Vee!!
