Come to Indian Creek Nature Center’s signature event to enjoy a taste of real, handcrafted maple syrup fresh from the tap, and stay for a weekend of family fun!

The Maple Syrup Festival features syrup making demonstrations, a look at the action inside the Maple Sugar House, and live music while you enjoy a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast with real maple syrup handcrafted at the Nature Center.
The Festival coincides with the end of maple syruping season. It’s a time to celebrate the sweet, syrupy harvest that the sugar maple trees provide each year at the Nature Center! While you’re here, take some time to enjoy the trails and exhibits, and take home your own bottle of handcrafted maple syrup from the Creekside Shop.
Maple Fest beer with Iowa Brewing Company is coming back! Maple Fest is a Märzen style lager finished with real maple syrup collected at Indian Creek Nature Center, and aged in Cedar Ridge Distillery barrels on sugar maple spirals. We’ll have 22 oz bomber bottlers available for sale in the Creekside Shop starting on the first day of the festival, until they’re gone.
