Speedeezz Indoor Karting

New Expanded Location! Affordable entertainment for the whole family.

A Popular Cedar Rapids Pit Stop

Have a need for speed? Climb into a kart at Speedeezz Indoor Karting and feel like a racecar driver for a day.

This family-owned indoor racing facility is run by experts who want to make family-friendly entertainment more accessible, affordable and fun. Make sure to check out their NEW, LARGER location on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids!

Revved Up To Return

"We want it to be something you can do on a regular basis," said Duane McNulty, one of the owners and a former race car crew chief.

"We want you to have fun without having to spend a lot of money," he added.

Racing Specs

Speedeezz is open every day of the year — even Christmas and Thanksgiving — and offers affordable tiered pricing that starts at just $7 per 15-lap race. The more races you buy in a package, the cheaper the races get. Those interested in private parties or corporate outings can look to Speedeezz, too.

Drivers must be at least 10 years old and 54 inches tall in order to reach the pedals. Shorter kids can ride with a licensed driver in a double kart. Remember that everyone needs closed toe shoes.

Once buckled in and ready to go, drivers can zip around the track and drift around corners at about 20 miles per hour — which may not sound all that fast, but trust us, it feels faster than it sounds.

A Spectator Sport Too

"People are always surprised by how fast the cars go," McNulty said. "It’s not an easy course, either. It takes some skill."

Even if racing isn’t for you, McNulty said watching is just as fun. And who knows, maybe you’ll want to take your turn at the wheel to feel the wind in your hair and enjoy some friendly competition.
