Maple Syrup Festival

If you’d like to have a SWEEEET Weekend, check out The Maple Syrup Festival at the Indian Creek Nature Center on Saturday AND Sunday.

Always a weekend those in and around Cedar Rapids look forward to each year, make the Maple Syrup Festival your new family tradition! Come hungry, leave satisfied!

See syrup making demonstrations, a look at the action inside the Maple Sugar House, and live music while you enjoy a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast with real maple syrup handcrafted at the Nature Center. If you are looking for some SWEET, family-fun this weekend, this is the place to be!

Please Note: The breakfast will take place at the Nature Center's new Amazing Space building and campus, just down Otis Road from the barn. Take a quick ride on the shuttle from Amazing Space to the Nature Center Barn to take a look at the action inside the Maple Sugar House. Leave plenty of time to explore the new Amazing Space and work off your breakfast exploring on the trails!
