See the Five Seasons Ski Team in action at Ellis Harbor at 7 p.m. and stick around for the Eliis Boat Harbor Fireworks show at dark!

Or head over to Music at the Museum: Freedom Festival Edition! The band for this year, Pianopalooza Dueling Pianos, will be featured under the stars at the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library's Amphitheater. Plenty of room to dance, bring your lawn chairs - no coolers please, but picnics welcome!

Start the day with an 8k, 5k, youth mile run, and kids races at the Fifth Season Races leaving from Greene Square.

Follow up the race (or start your day with) the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival annual pancake breakfast inside the Veterans Memorial Coliseum from 8 am – 11 am! Following breakfast walk along the 2nd Avenue Bridge to view dozens of local classic cars.

Beginning at 4pm come downtown Cedar Rapids for the Freedom Festival's Celebration of Freedom! Activities on the 2nd Avenue bridge include: Face Painting, Balloon Artist, lots of delicious food and beverages, music, "Freedom Express" Track-less train, Bungee Trampolines, Inflatable Zone for all ages, military vehicles and exhibits, and so much more! The Freedom Festival has grown to offer the Corridor the largest fireworks display in Iowa on the 4th of July! Sit back and enjoy the music and watch the show of the year.  Before going please view check for specific entry guidelines.

What’s more American than baseball! Fans will want to get tickets early for the Cedar Rapids Kernels game on 4th of July– these are often sell-outs!

The Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market is one of the largest open-air markets in the Midwest. From 7:30am – noon stroll through downtown and peruse nearly 200 local Iowa vendors offering an array of products from fresh produce and flowers to meats and artisan gifts.

CR Pride Fest is a free, family friendly event at NewBo City Market from 11am-4pm

Enjoy a fun concert at the Ballpark featuring Hairball at 7:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
