Celebrate the 4th Of July In Cedar Rapids

The Fourth of July weekend in Cedar Rapids will be different in 2020.

While the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival and many other traditional 4th of July gatherings and activities have gone virtual or been cancelled for 2020, there are still plenty of options for live entertainment.

Rodina is cooking up something fun! Stop by for a State Fair pop-up Friday: 12pm - 9pm. SureBurgers, Funnel Cakes, Fried Mushrooms, Whole Pig Roast served up at 5pm, Outdoor Bar, plus other fun stuff!! Stop by, grab a drink, get some grub to-go or for dine in. Join the Cedar Rapids Kernels for a July 4th Home Plate Bash! They will be welcoming fans into the stadium for live music by Not Quite Brothers, ballpark food, and fireworks! Gates open at 6:30 pm with live music from 7-9:30 pm. The fireworks show is slated to kick off right after the music is finished around 9:30 pm. Tickets are available for $10 or reserve a table of four people for $50. Learn More
