A Guide to Area Farmers' Markets

For shopping, eating and outdoor fun, check out this summer's farmers' markets!

For a summer full of outdoor shopping and entertainment, check out all the farmers' markets that Cedar Rapids has to offer!

Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market:

  • May 26- September 1

One of the largest open-air markets in the Midwest, the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market features nearly 200 local Iowa vendors. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 7:30 to noon, browse through an array from fresh produce and flowers to meats and artisan gifts.

You also don’t want to miss the Market After Dark on August 25. This farmers’ market downtown has about 30,000 people come every year for food, beer, wine, art, entertainment and more! There is a variety of vendors with lively stage and street performances.

Other Farmers' Markets in and around the Cedar Rapids area that you don't want to miss:

Marion Weekly Farmers’ Market:

  • May 5- September 29

On Saturday mornings in Taube Park, The Marion Farmers’ Market offers locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, flowers, homemade crafts and more.

Uptown and Fall Marion Market:

  • Uptown: Second Saturday June - August
  • Fall: Last Saturday in September

With offers like fresh produce, baked goods and Iowa wines these markets are ones you don’t want to miss. Enjoy live music while shopping in City Square Park.

Hiawatha Farmers’ Market:

  • April 29 - October 28

Every Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm at 10th Ave. parking lot to Guthridge Park, Hiawatha Farmers’ Market brings the “Taste of Iowa Producers to you.”

Noelridge Park Farmers Market:

  • May 1 - October 13

The Noelridge Park Market is every Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Browse through fruits, vegetables, meats and crafts by local vendors and artisans.

Lion Bridge Brewing Famers Market:

  • May 31st and September 6th 5-8 pm

In Lion Bride Brewing Company’s parking lot, enjoy a beer, shop local vendors and listen to live music by the Awful Purdies!
